American Stroke Awareness Month
National Stroke Awareness Month is observed in May and is intended to spread awareness about stroke signs, symptoms, recovery, and support. The goal is to better educate society so individuals are better equipped to act if they or someone around them is having a stroke and provide support to those who have experienced a stroke in their lifetime.
