National Aphasia Awareness Month
Aphasia is a language disorder that impacts communication. National aphasia awareness month is observed in June and is intended to spread awareness about aphasia and how to support those impacted by aphasia. The goal is to improve the communication experiences for those impacted by aphasia through educating others about aphasia and how to appropriately communicate with individuals impacted by aphasia.
