Mothers for Justice United is engaged in advocacy on two main, somewhat overlapping fronts: police accountability and reform; and mental health, particularly as it interacts with policing. Mothers for Justice supports moms who have lost children to violence and who have been overlooked by police departments. Network of self-help groups that offer emotional and educational support for relatives and individuals affected by mental illness. Offers a crisis hotline and an informative website. Newsletter, affiliate development guidelines, legal network. Conducts anti-discrimination campaign.

Drug prevention, education, information, networking, and guidelines for parents forming community groups to address drug prevention. Two-day drug prevention education workshops for junior and senior high school students.

Our services are available to all single parents, including those who are living in transitional housing; struggling with substance abuse; or have been released from incarceration.

Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD)

SADD fosters a sense of belonging and promotes resiliency, leadership, and advocacy skills so that young people make positive life decisions that will carry them throughout life.
