Devoted to the detection, prevention, and cure of Tay-Sachs and other fatal degenerative disorders through programs of research, education, and support services. Parent peer network and repository of specialized knowledge.

Parents As Teachers

Discussion groups for parents from last trimester of pregnancy through age 5. Programs include groups for new parents, young moms and young dads, growing families, Hispanic families, parents of special needs kids and deaf parents.

Planned Parenthood

Referrals to neighborhood Planned Parenthood clinics nationwide. A trusted health care provider, an informed educator, a passionate advocate, and a global partner helping similar organizations around the world.

Stormont Vial Health – Breast Feeding Education and Support Group

Informal, ongoing education and support for those planning on breastfeeding or who currently are breast feeding. Problems, returning to work, suggestions, and other issues will be addressed. $35 fee for first time patients.

Postpartum Education for Parents (PEP)

Helps parents adjust to the changes that a baby brings. Phone help, education on infant care and parent adjustment, post partum distress support, and “Guide for Establishing a Parent Support Program in Your Community” ($10.00).

Center for Lost In Multiple Birth (CLIMB, Inc.)

Our mission is to provide parent-to-parent support for all of us who have experienced the death of one or more twins or higher multiple birth children at any time from conception through birth, infancy and early childhood. It is also to assist extended families, caregivers, twins and multiples who are seeking to understand and support

Postpartum Support International

To increase awareness of the emotional changes women can experience during pregnancy and following the birth of a baby. Information on diagnosis and treatment of postpartum depression. Includes support groups, education, advocacy resources, Facebook group, peer support online platform, provider directory, and more.
