Goal: To serve as a vehicle for information sharing among bereavement services providers. To promote the coordination of grief support services in the Kansas City area. To increase public awareness of the needs of the bereaved. To provide ongoing training opportunities in the area of grief and loss. To identify underserved populations of grieving persons and promote the creation of services to address their needs. To promote understanding of best practices in
current research in the field of grief and loss.​
